Hi all, we use TimeTEQ as our employee clock in and out system. We got 5 computers dedicated for this purpose. Out of this 5, 3 are win 7 pro so i don't have any issue with them. But the remaining 2 are Windows Embedded POS ready 2009 systems. These systems are currently running 24/7. I want to create a schedule task so they shutdown after 9 pm everyday and change the BIOS settings to start every morning at 6 am. I was able to do this with 3 win 7 systems but i didn't find task scheduler in the pos ready systems.

Is there any other way to achieve this with out task scheduler. Now i got the task scheduler. I created a new task to shutdown daily at 8:30 PM. I tried the bat file on my laptop and it did work fine. I used the same bat file on the POSready system and it didn't work. Bat: c: windows system32 shutdown -s -f -t 10 I even tried c: windows system32 shutdown.exe -s -f and c: windows system32 shutdown s f i navigate to c: windows system32 and did run the shutdown.exe.
