Only way sometimes does work is by saving an image or picture (example) on my desktop and from there copy & paste to another place. I had put a 'My Pictures' short-cut on my Windows 10 desk top, and what follows assumes you have done or are going to do the same. Call up the Image you want to paste. Right click on it.
