I don’t mean to state the obvious but doesn’t this stray into the “definitely illegal” territory? I don’t mind using a hackintosh but if stealing somebody’s legitimate serial number compromises their access to entitled support, I’d feel like an asshole. The worst thing I’d imagine could be that they (the legal owner) get an email saying “Your device was just registered ” and then they could somehow gain access to the machine or information about its location. No idea if that’s possible but it definitely sounds plausible.

I keep installing the platform tools rev 21.1 which as of last month is the newest version which should install adb 1.0.31, but every time I run the command 'adb version' it comes back saying it is version 1.0.29.
